Hi, Welcome to my website.

I'm Marco Salamida and I am a music composer for digital media.

I'm here to elevate your project with a fresh sound that blends the best of modern aesthetics. 

I regularly work with orchestras, choirs & soloists to bring soundtracks life through the humanity of live players. 

My musical sound is inspired by western composers like Hans Zimmer, John Powell as well as eastern composers like Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Xenoblade Chronicles), Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy) and many others.​

It doesn't matter if it is a game, a trailer or a movie, each project is unique.

To achieve the best possible result I keep myself as much as possible in contact with the clients to be able to satisfy at the most of my possibilities their musical vision and to enhance the quality of the project.

In the digital era having good music is not enough. I'm a master in the craft of midi mockups and I'll be sure that even the sound of a single note will satisfy the ears of the listeners.

Orchestration nowadays is what makes the difference between a good and a bad soundtrack.

From a piano sketch to a full orchestra, I will orchestrate any musical idea in different ranges of style and I will prepare the music to be recorded by real musicians.

EXPERIENCE WITH INDUSTRY PROS

Marco is a MFA graduate from the acclaimed Film Scoring Academy of Europe where he was choosen as the recipient of

the first SCL (Society for Composers and Lyricist) scholarship. He was trained by some of the best renown Hollywood composers like CRISTOPHER YOUNG (Spiderman 3, The Grudge, Hellraiser), MIKOLAI STROINSKI (The Witcher 3, The Vanishing of Ethan Carther, Metamorphosis), CONRAD POPE (orchestrator for Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, The Hobbit,)

ANDY HILL (former vice president of Music at Disney), and many others.
